Mission Meow Cat Rescue & Adoptions, INC based in Placer County is a private non-profit 501 (c) 3 cat rescue. Our focus is on providing quality cat & kitten adoptions.

We are a cage-free*, no-kill private rescue, comprised completely of volunteers. Most of our volunteers have extensive expertise in fostering & adoption counseling in Placer County since 2009 through various rescues & shelters. However, we saw the need to offer a program with a much more personal & thorough medical protocol process - in order to ensure the happiest & healthiest possible adoption for you and to protect your current pets. We are experts at helping you find the best feline fit for your family!

Our cats are lovingly fostered in our own private homes so we can really tell you the personality of each one. We also want to provide a very personalized adoption experience- without the noise & stress of being in a shelter environment. We encourage private meet & greet appointments so you can see a truer version of our kitten's personalities. You will speak directly to the family who has been fostering your desired cats & kittens. We pride ourselves on personalized interaction with our adopters during all stages of the adoption process- from the initial inquiry to post-adoption follow up.
If we do not have what you are looking for, we have close connections in the local rescue community with access to hundreds of cats & kittens so start your search with us & we will make sure to find you a purrfect fit!

We pride ourselves on being a rescue without bureaucratic obstacles. We assist cats rejected by other shelters and rescues due to city/county contracts, neonatal age, or special needs, where they would otherwise face euthanasia. We prioritize underserved areas with limited animal rescue resources. We actively engage with these communities to provide TNR services, spay and neuter owned pets, and offer educational and practical assistance for unaltered cats and kittens.
Our organization has a well-established network of foster homes, volunteers, and procedures. However, our primary challenge is securing reliable funding, as grants can be unpredictable & government assistance is nonexistent. We rely mostly on the generosity of private citizens who want to help alleviate the suffering of unclaimed cats & kittens. If you would like to support our rescue program please DONATE HERE.
