Welcome-ow to Mission Meow!
Since 2017, Mission Meow Cat Rescue & Adoptions INC has served cats and communities throughout the greater Sacramento and Placer County region. As a foster-based, no-kill nonprofit based in Rocklin, California, we step in where traditional systems often cannot — helping vulnerable cats who need more time, medical care, or individualized support than shelters are able to provide.
Through compassionate foster homes, targeted TNR spay/neuter initiatives, and specialized medical care, we give fragile and overlooked cats the chance to recover, stabilize, and thrive.
At the same time, we help healthy, highly adoptable cats find loving homes through a calm, personalized adoption experience designed to create lasting matches for both cats and their families.
By combining these approaches, Mission Meow protects vulnerable cats while helping reduce the number entering already-overburdened shelter systems.

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in loving homes—not shelters or kennels. This allows us to get to know their unique personalities and needs, so we can help match them with the perfect family.

We encourage private meet-and-greet appointments in a relaxed environment to help you get a true sense of each cat’s temperament. 🐾 Thorough Medical Protocols
Your new companion’s health—and the safety of your existing pets—matters to us. All of our cats receive age-appropriate vet care, vaccinations, parasite control, and spay/neuter prior to adoption. Local veterinarians have been so impressed with our kittens they have adopted our kittens for themselves!

Whether you have questions about behavior, nutrition, or vet care—we’re just a message away. We've found that we forge long term relationships with many of our adopters!

We proudly take in cats that many shelters turn away—including neonates, seniors, those with chronic conditions, blindness, paralysis, or other conditions. These extraordinary cats often have the most love to give, and we go the extra mile to ensure they get the second chance they deserve. Adopting a special needs cat is easier than you think!

Mission Meow is entirely supported by private donations. This independence gives us the freedom to act quickly and compassionately—rescuing medically complex or urgent cases without the red tape or limitations that often slow down larger organizations. Your support makes that possible.
