Mission Meow – Merced Division
TNR • Spay & Neuter • Community Cat Education
Our Merced Division is a community-focused Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiative working to reduce cat overpopulation while improving the health, safety, and well-being of community cats and the people who live alongside them.
Our focus is prevention, education and empowering people to be part of the solution.
We are not an intake or surrender program. Instead, we work with community members to find practical, humane solutions for cats in their neighborhoods.

Help End the Cycle of Homeless Cats in Merced County
TNR works — but it takes a community.
Your support helps provide spay and neuter surgeries, trapping equipment, medical care and other resources needed to address community cat populations humanely and effectively.
Instead of waiting for more kittens to be born and trying to find somewhere for them to go, we're working to prevent the cycle before it starts.

Found Cats or Kittens?
The first question isn't "Who can take them?" It's "How can we help them where they are?"
If you've found community cats or kittens, we may be able to provide information, resources, or guidance to help you determine the best next step.
Because we are a small, volunteer-run program, we cannot accept cats or kittens for surrender or intake.
The more you are able to participate — whether by trapping, transporting, providing temporary care, monitoring a colony, or helping coordinate spay/neuter — the more options may be available.

Be Part of the Solution
You don't have to run a rescue to make an enormous difference.
Community members are essential to successful TNR. We need people willing to help with things such as trapping, transportation, colony monitoring, temporary recovery space, and other hands-on needs.
Even helping get one cat fixed prevents future litters and helps break the cycle.

Help End the Cycle in Merced County
Every successful TNR project requires resources.
Donations to Mission Meow's Merced program help support spay and neuter surgeries, trapping equipment, medical needs, and other expenses associated with helping community cats.
Your donation doesn't just help one cat today. It helps prevent generations of homeless kittens tomorrow.
